Fairfield Parks & Recreation offers a variety of nature programming throughout the year. While several of the programs are free, please let us know your coming by calling 513-767-5348 or stopping by our offices in the Fairfield Community Arts Center at 411 Wessel Dr. in Fairfield. 

NEW - Busy Bugs | Ages 3 - 6

Let your little bugs learn why insects are an important part of our ecosystem during this six week course with hikes, insect collecting, insect crafts, healthy educational snacks (nut-free), and receive an insect guide.

Put on your muck boots and discover what lives in the streams flowing through your backyard. Collect specimens and get a closer look at the micro-organisms, salamanders, and tadpoles that rely on the flowing water.

Star Gazing

FREE for all ages

The Cincinnati Astronomical Society is back for another season. Look through their telescopes and get an up-close look at the moon, planets, and stars that fill the night sky. To help us have enough telescopes on hand, please register for days you would like to attend by calling 513-867-5348.
