Becknell Industrial Breaks Ground

Becknell Industrial has broken ground at 630 Commerce Center Drive in Fairfield on a 176,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility.  Construction is expected to be completed in May 2018.

“The location is perfect because of its proximity to the distribution and manufacturing core of Northern Cincinnati,” said Jeremy Kraus, First Vice President at CBRE. “This building will offer existing and new-to-market tenants the opportunity to operate in a modern, efficient facility. The features in the building will help tenants lower operational costs while also helping to retain and recruit talent in this competitive labor landscape.”

Aldi Coming to Fairfield

The upcoming Fairfield Aldi store will be located at the old Marsh grocery locatAldi rendering_April 2018ion, on Pleasant Ave. at Patterson Blvd. Aldi will offer a modern and convenient shopping experience with a focus on fresh items, including robust produce, dairy and bakery sections, and more room for customers’ favorite products with a total size of approximately 22,000 sq. ft.  The store’s modern design will also feature open ceilings, natural lighting and be environmentally-friendly.

Union Centre Logistics ParkNorthern Arial UCLP

Standex Electronics Relocating to Fairfield

Standex ElectronicsStandex Electronics is relocating its division headquarters to 4150 Thunderbird Lane in Fairfield where it will construct a 60,000 square foot manufacturing and engineering facility. It will move approximately 120 skilled employees and plans to add 10 additional employees within 3 years.  The move to Fairfield allows Standex Electronics to grow organically and through acquisitions, with the goal to double in the next 4-5 years.  The company creates products in the transportation, industrial, and appliance sector with a focus on aerospace and military.

McDonald's on Nilles Road Rebuild

The McDonald's on Nilles Road will be torn down and rebuilt in Spring of 2018. The new building will feature a modern design with a brick and stone facade and the bright yellow arch and McDonald's logo accents.  The rebuild maintains the 2 lane drive thru and includes new landscaping.

This particular McDonald's location is one of the highest grossing chains of the popular franchise in the United States.

Stockton Station Retail Center

Cincinnati United Contractors Inc. plans to construct an 8,900-square-foot building on a 1.2-acre lot as part of the Stockton Station Stockton Station retail center cartoon sketchplanned unit development on Route 4. The building has been designed to accommodate a variety of potential end users, including restaurants, retailers, or service businesses. The first 2 announced tenants include Rapid Fired Pizza and Guthrie’s Chicken Fingers. A landscape buffer is planned for the rear of the project, closest to neighboring homes. Fairfield Professional Building Expansion

Fairfield Professional Building, located at 4951 Dixie Highway, is expanding by over 9,000 square feet to aFF Biz Bldg 2llow for the growing operations of its three businesses: Collecting Warehouse, Granite Earth, and Hipsy. This expansion will include an investment of more than $750,000 and an increase to over 30 total employees.  The owners plan to add modern design to the facade of the building facing Dixie Highway (pictured).

Fairfield Professional Building LLC purchased the facility from the City in 2006.  It formerly housed the Fairfield Police Department and Municipal Court.

Pacific ManufacturingPacific logo

Pacific Manufacturing Ohio has constructed a 72,000 square foot addition to its stamping plant at 8935 Seward Road in Fairfield. Total investment is over $50 million. Pacific is an auto parts provider to Toyota and others. Pacific Manufacturing now has three buildings in Fairfield, with 540 full-time employees. The expansion has created over 60 additional jobs at the site.

Fairfield Village Senior Apartments

Fairfield Village Senior Apartments will be located on Patterson Drive in the northern section of the Town Center area. The building is 3 stories and contains 119 units.
